Capital Digestive Care welcomes gastroenterologist Dr. Stephen Humm to its practice as an office-based physician. In his new position, he will be receiving patients at Capital Digestive Care’s Silver Spring and Olney, MD offices.
Dr. Humm previously served as a hospital-based physician for Capital Digestive Care at Holy Cross Hospital and MedStar Montgomery Medical Center where he was chosen as a “Doctor of the Year” for his tireless dedication to patient care.
Dr. Humm has a wealth of experience in treating all gastrointestinal ailments and a special interest in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). In addition, he is frequently complemented for his compassionate bedside manner with patients and families. In his spare time he enjoys sports, running, and traveling.
Dr. Humm earned his medical degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. He completed his internal medicine residency at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard University and finished his fellowship in gastroenterology at Boston Medical Center, Boston University.
