Dr. Howard IBS

Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) is more likely to affect women than men, but men can also suffer from IBS. Symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome include a pattern of altered bowel habits over a period of time (such as diarrhea or constipation), abdominal bloating, abdominal pain, abdominal cramping and gas. If you see a pattern or regular occurrence of these symptoms, you should seek medical attention, because there are treatments that can help patients with IBS.
