This month, Capital Digestive Care welcomes Zachary Borman, MD to the practice.  He is now seeing patients in our Bethesda location.  Dr. Borman is experienced in treating a wide range of digestive issues and concerns such as Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, acid reflux, irritable bowel syndrome, and many others. He brings a varied background gained from experiences in top medical facilities in Boston and New York. But as a Bethesda native, his goal was always to return to his hometown.

He attended The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences where he obtained his Doctor of Medicine. He then left the region to continue his training at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, MA and followed up with a gastroenterology fellowship at The Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York, NY. While in New York City he was a frontline COVID-19 physician during the peak of the pandemic.

When asked about his view on patient care, he says, “My approach is to develop a long term therapeutic relationship with patients and to never give up helping them meet their goals.”  Find out more about Dr. Borman here.
