New providers headshots

In response to our growing practices, Capital Digestive Care has tapped a new physician and nurse practitioner to enhance patient care.  Both are experienced medical providers who are highly-trained in gastroenterology and internal medicine.

Stephen J. Park, MD is a board-certified gastroenterologist who joins our Frederick, Ijamsville, and Rockville locations.  He graduated magna cum laude from Villanova University in a combined Bachelor of Science/Doctor of Medicine program and earned his medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine.  Prior to joining Capital Digestive Care, Dr. Park served as Medical Director of the Gastroenterology clinic at Joint Base Andrews and also cared for patients at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. In addition to his medical credentials, Dr. Park served on active duty as an officer in the United States Air Force for 10 years earning the Air Force and Army Achievement Medals for meritorious service.

Julia M. Dinnen, CRNP, MSN brings a rich medical background to our Rockville office on 14955 Shady Grove Road.  She earned her undergraduate degree in Nursing at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh and went on to complete a Master of Science degree in Nursing from The Catholic University of America. Before joining Capital Digestive Care, she cared for patients with GI concerns at Gastroenterology Limited in Virginia Beach. She was also a Certified Nurse Practitioner at Calvert Gastroenterology in Prince Frederick. Throughout her career, her approach to looking after her patients has centered on individualized comprehensive care.
