Capital Digestive Care Vice President and gastroenterologist, Dr. Michael Weinstein, provided testimony to the Ways and Means Committee Health Subcommitte on programs developed by the American Gastroenterological Association (AGA) to prepare gastroenterologists for success in the changing health-care system.
“As the health-care system changes, we see that quality and efficiency go hand in hand. Physicians and patients need to be wise stewards of health care dollars and ensure that care is given to the right patient at the right time at the right location,” noted Dr. Weinstein who serves as chair of the AGA Digestive Health Outcomes Registry Management Board.
