Ingrid Ortiz, MSN, FNP‑BC, is a board-certified nurse practitioner who is passionate about connecting with her patients and supporting their overall well-being. She was inspired to become a provider by her desire to make a greater impact in patients’ lives and to offer a higher level of care and support.

Ingrid takes a thoughtful, patient-centered approach to care, focusing on listening first and understanding each patient’s needs. She believes that clear communication is essential and works to ensure her patients fully understand their condition, treatment options, and overall health.

Before joining Capital Digestive Care, Ingrid gained extensive experience as a nurse practitioner in urology and as a registered nurse in emergency, trauma, and hospital leadership roles. She also served as a GI lab lead nurse, assisting with advanced procedures including endoscopies, colonoscopies, EUS, and ERCPs.

Outside of the office, Ingrid enjoys spending time with her family, going to church, crafting, cooking, and quilting.
