Biography

Dr. Jacqueline Salcedo is a board-certified, fellowship-trained gastroenterologist. She strives to provide patient-centric care in order to establish a meaningful partnership with her patients.

She has particular interest in the following conditions and procedures:

  • Colon cancer screening
  • Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD)
  • Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS)
  • Hepatology

Dr. Salcedo earned her medical degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine of New York University and completed internship and residency training at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. She then pursued a fellowship in gastroenterology at Boston University Medical Center.

Dr. Salcedo has been consistently recognized by her peers as “Top Doctor” in Hampton Roads, VA. She enjoys spending time with her physician husband and three sons. In her spare time, she likes traveling with her family, paddleboarding, hiking, and film.
