Biography
Haja is a nurse practitioner who specializes in gastroenterology care. She believes open communication is paramount in understanding each patient’s unique needs and concerns, and she strives for shared decision making, collaborating with patients to develop personalized care plans that align with their values and preferences.
Before joining Capital Digestive Care, Haja worked as a certified nurse practitioner at Maumee Bay Family Medicine in Ohio and Churchland Internal Medicine in Chesapeake, Va. She spent more than 10 years as a nurse in the intensive care unit before going back to school to become a nurse practitioner.
A Midwest native, Haja enjoys traveling, listening to music, and spending time with family and friends.
