Emma Laura Gash, FNP-C, is a   who provides compassionate, patient-centered gastrointestinal care. She is committed to helping patients understand their health concerns and works collaboratively with each patient to develop informed, personalized care plans.

Inspired by her sister’s experience with type 1 diabetes, Emma pursued a career in healthcare to combine her passion for science with the opportunity to help others. Prior to joining Capital Digestive Care, she practiced as a family nurse practitioner in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

She is interested in all aspects of gastroenterology and enjoys building relationships with patients while helping them achieve their health goals.

Outside of work, Emma enjoys reading, playing mahjong, going on walks, and cooking with her husband.
