Dr. Clinton is a board-certified, fellowship-trained gastroenterologist who enjoys getting to know patients on a deeply personal level and seeks to provide a source of comfort in their lives.
Dr. Clinton’s main clinical interest is inflammatory bowel disease, including Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. He initially became interested in the human body and the medical field after breaking his leg four separate times as a kid. Before joining Capital Digestive Care, Dr. Clinton was a gastroenterology and hepatology fellow at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, where he served as chief fellow and won the GI teaching award twice during fellowship. He has authored over 10 publications in the field and presented over 10 abstracts at national conferences.
Outside the office, Dr. Clinton’s main hobbies include fishing, hiking, watching his favorite sports teams (the Washington Commanders, Washington Capitals, Washington Wizards, and Washington Nationals), cooking, and spending time with his family.
