Biography

Christine Shevock is a board-certified physician assistant who specializes in gastroenterology. She takes time with her patients, listening to their concerns and working alongside patients as a team to develop an individualized treatment plan that works for them. 

She has particular interest in the following conditions and treatments:  

  • Colon cancer screening 
  • Preventative GI health 
  • Irritable bowel syndrome 
  • Cirrhosis,  
  • Hepatitis C 

Christine earned her bachelor’s degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, majoring in biology and psychology and earning induction into the Phi Beta Kappa National Honor Society. She completed her physician assistant master’s degree at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, VA.

When asked to summarize her practice philosophy, Christine said, “I am a good listener, thorough and detail oriented. I try to develop treatment plans collaboratively with the individual patient in mind.”  

Christine is married to her college sweetheart, with whom she shares two young daughters. In her free time, Christine and her family love bike riding, swimming at the neighborhood pool, and visiting the playground.
