Biography
Catherine McCann-Shelton is a board-certified physician assistant who specializes in gastroenterology. She has a particular interest in the following conditions:
- Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)
- Irritable bowel syndrome
Catherine earned her undergraduate degree from Old Dominion University and her master of physician assistant studies degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School. She worked in an emergency department before choosing to specialize in gastroenterology.
