Biography

Dr. Bradley Reuter was always drawn to the sciences growing up and had an intense curiosity as a child. This, paired with a strong desire to help people and support my community, led him to pursue a career as a doctor.

Today, Dr. Reuter is a fellowship-trained gastroenterologist. He is comfortable managing and treating all gastroenterological and hepatological conditions. Trust is the foundation of his approach to patient care, and he works to develop a strong partnership with each patient.

After finishing his bachelor’s degree at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC, Dr. Reuter earned his medical degree from Wake Forest University School of Medicine. He completed residency training in internal medicine at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) in Richmond, VA, then went on to complete a fellowship in gastroenterology, hepatology, and nutrition at VCU.

“I devote myself to establishing strong partnerships with my patients in order to build a solid foundation of trust and understanding. This includes actively listening and working together to form a treatment plan. Gastroenterological and hepatological medical conditions are complex, and this approach allows for better patient care throughout the spectrum of a patient’s care,” Dr. Reuter said.

When he is not working, Dr. Reuter loves to spend time with his young daughter. He also enjoys cooking, traveling, fishing, and hiking.
