Congratulations to Dr. Louis Korman, honored this week by the American Gastroenterological Association (AGA) with the 2015 Distinguished Clinician of the Year Award. A 1975 graduate of the State University of New York, Dr. Korman has held successful careers in GI research, academic training and private practice. He is recognized by the AGA for his leadership and excellence in the private practice of gastroenterology, where his dedication and passion to his field is demonstrated through his work as a clinician. An active AGA member for more than 30 years, Dr. Korman currently serves on the AGA Government Affairs Committee.
