Biography
Nicole Mitchell, CRNP brings several years of experience and a strong academic background to our Ijamsville and Rockville locations. She graduated with honors from Hampton University, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and went on to earn a Master of Science in Nursing at Coppin State University.
Prior to joining Capital Digestive Care, Ms. Mitchell served as an Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner Manager at Shady Grove Medical Center in Maryland. She has also worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner at several Maryland clinics. In service to the community, she has provided primary and preventative care services for the uninsured and under-insured population of Montgomery County in the Mobile Medical Care program.
She is a member of the Maryland Nursing Association, American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Society, and Chi Eta Phi Sorority.
