Biography
Laure Kouyoudjian, PA-C began her career as physician assistant at Capital Digestive Care in 2008. She is a native of Grenoble, France, where she completed her medical degree and residency in family medicine in 2000.
She graduated from Towson University in 2008 with a master’s degree in physician assistant studies and was a member of Phi Alpha Honor Society.
She has worked in gastroenterology clinics and GI-focused clinical research since 2002, and developed a special interest in management and treatment of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and hepatitis C. She rejoined Capital Digestive Care in 2008 as a physician assistant, where she continues to focus on IBD.
“I want to provide a person-centered, personalized, holistic approach to medical care for my patients, taking into account their physical, psychological, and social wellbeing. I strongly believe that education and shared decision making is the best way to promote a patient’s health and self-advocacy,” she says.
In her spare time, Laure enjoys gardening, reading, traveling, and spending time with her son.
