Biography
After growing up in Baltimore, Dr. Gloger attended the University of Michigan and later returned to the area to attend medical school at Georgetown University School of Medicine. Following a gastroenterology fellowship at New York University, he pursued his interest in the evaluation of gastrointestinal cancers and further developed his skill in therapeutic endoscopy as a faculty member of the Temple University School of Medicine and Medical College of Pennsylvania affiliated hospitals. Working with internationally recognized experts, he gained added expertise in the role of abnormal gastrointestinal motility as a major factor in disease processes such as gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), irregular bowel movements, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), and non-cardiac chest pain.
Dr. Gloger, a former Chairman of Gastroenterology at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital, has been consistently recognized by his peers as a “Top Doctor” in Washingtonian magazine. He has focused his practice on patients with a variety of Gastroenterology and liver diseases and is on the forefront of incorporating some of the most innovative new gastroenterology endoscopic procedures in his practice.
