Biography

​A Pennsylvania native, Julia M. Dinnen, DNP, received her undergraduate degree in nursing at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh and went on to complete a Masters of Science degree in nursing and a Doctorate of Nursing Practice from The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC.

Julia Dinnen’s career in nursing was inspired by her strong sense of compassion and her desire to care for others. In addition, her approach to looking after her patients is centered in individualized comprehensive care.

Her husband is in the United States Navy, which has allowed her to relocate to several exciting new places and specialize in gastroenterology at multiple different practices over the past decade. She spends all of her time outside of work with her growing family, with three little ones ages 4, 2, and 1.
