Nelson P. Trujillo, MD, FACG, LAc

Dr. Nelson Trujillo is a veteran of the United States Army where he received the Army Commendation Medal and served as Assistant Chief of Gastroenterology at Walter Reed Army Hospital. He continues to serve as a Medical Consultant to the Department of State and the White House but also enjoys his private practice, where he uses his many years of experience to help his patients handle difficult and complicated digestive health problems. In addition to his clinical expertise, Dr. Trujillo is a Licensed Acupuncturist and one of the only specialists in the area who can offer acupuncture as an adjunct to traditional treatment.

He spends his personal time enjoying his 6 grandchildren who call him "GrandPaPa." You can also find him on the golf course or in the kitchen!
