Dr. Robert Musselman Inducted as Fellow of ACP

Dr. Robert Musselman was recently inducted as a Fellow of the American College Physicians for his achievements in the specialty of gastroenterology. During this year’s ceremony, he and other physicians recognized across different specialties took a pledge reaffirming their dedication to medicine. ​

Fellows are elected upon the recommendation of their peers and the review of ACP’s Credentials Subcommittee. They often use “FACP” – Fellow of the American College of Physicians – after their names in recognition of this honor.​

As a physician with Capital Digestive Care, Dr. Musselman is certified in the sub-specialty of gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Musselman has been consistently recognized by his peers as a “Top Doctor” in Washingtonian magazine. In addition, he is a former Vice Chairman of the Department of Medicine at Holy Cross Hospital.​

A graduate of The Catholic University of America, Dr. Musselman earned a medical degree from University of Maryland, Baltimore and completed his residency at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.​
