Dr. Michael Weinstein Speaks at GI Outlook 2014 Conference

Dr. Michael Weinstein, Vice President of Capital Digestive Care, presented at the GI Outlook 2014 Conference (GO 2014) on August 2, 2014 in Washington, D.C. The GO 2014 Conference was co-sponsored by the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and the American Gastroenterological Association Institute. Dr. Weinstein’s educational session covered “Practice Consolidation – Imperatives and Implication” and he took part in a panel that discussed “Practice Consolidation Perspectives – Successes and Challenges.” Other GO 2014 faculty presented topics that will affect GI practices in the near future such as reimbursement, compliance, population management, aggregation, accountability, cost, performance measurement, practice consolidations and technology.

The conference provided practical advice and recommendations for solo, small and large GI practices to improve practice efficiency, performance and service quality. The conference provided real-life case studies on how practices are currently developing strategies to successfully adapt to the changes affecting GI practices in the upcoming years. Participants left the conference with tools to implement these changes in their practices.
